Feeding
Your Baby is a series of online interactive modules
designed to foster knowledge about infant nutrition
with a goal of increasing breastfeeding rates in infants
from birth through 6 months of age. Maternal responses
to questions form a needs assessment which the health
care practitioner can use to facilitate anticipatory
guidance during the well child visit in a time efficient
manner. In addition, the Feeding Your Baby modules take
advantage of the patient's waiting time by providing
breastfeeding and formula feeding patient education
within clinic waiting areas. If directed by their caregiver,
mothers in a practice can also access the nutrition
modules from their computer at home.
